We can surely no longer pretend that our children We are growing up into a peaceful, secure, and civilized world. We’ve come to the point where it’s irresponsible to try to protect them from the irrational world they will have to live in when they grow up… Our responsibility to them is not to pretend that if we don’t look, evil will go away, but to give them weapons against it.” ~ Madeleine L’Engle, A Circle of Quiet Photo by David Stembridge @blinkdotla #BPS #BiblePlaySchool #Christian #Teach #Canon #canon_photos #canon7d2 #canon7dmarkii

We were asked to do a portrait shoot on Thanksgiving morning. These are some friends who will be heading to Thailand after Christmas, and wanted photos with them and their children and grandchildren all together. We know everyone well, and it was really fun!
Having two sons, we realize that photos of them together can be a challenge. Christopher and Aydan did great though! If you have children and haven’t gotten photos of them recently, please give me a call. This is a beautiful time of the year to have photos done.
1. Never use the term ‘home-Run’ in your football game article. This was my wife’s observation after reading my first football story roughly 3 years ago. Fortunately, they decided I would be a better photographer, and let me do that instead.
I always read the stories after the article was published, and began noticing some patterns. This year I was asked if I’d like to try the articles again. I decided, why not? I have learned a little. Much comes from noticing things on the field, and then tying it together with the play by play stats the school gives me access to, as well as looking though hundreds of images… Oh, then there’s always my favorite coach Travis. He is always willing to answer a question, no matter how silly it is, and I appreciate that!
